Welcome to Fairae.org...

...Skye's collective/network site. Not much content but it serves as a signpost to all of her other sites so that's cool, right?

Look at this stuff; isn't it neat? Wouldn'tcha think my collection 's complete? Wouldn'tcha think I'm the girl: the girl who has everything...? Look at this trove, treasures untold. How many wonders can one cavern hold? Lookin around here you'd think "sure, she's got everything." I've got gadgets and gizmoes aplenty. I've got whozits and whatsits galore. You want thingamabobs? I got twenty. But who cares? No big deal. I want more....
Skyefairy.net is a creative arts site containing works ranging from written to visual, both traditional and digital by the owner, Skye, and visitors to the site. It was opened in its original form in late 2002 and has been gradually expanding since.
Ealain is Skye's personal site with a random spattering of all different things. Her journal features a random blog, work in progress logs for her art and writing, a web development log, along with other stuffage. The site was originally intended to have other content but resorted to being a plain ol' blog -- for now.
Faedubh is a group blog run by Skye and Leo where the writers talk about varying subjects related to the internet, websites, and art. The purpose of FaeDubh is to serve as an outlet for its writers–all hobbyist webdesigners–to speak of their experiences in the Web Design world. Their posts cover a variety of subjects and views while serving your boredom, entertainment, and–possibly–your webdesigning knowledge.
Dearadh is still in its development stages but it will be Skye's portfolio and will contain her more professional designing works as well as possibly a medium for people to hire her to design their sites.
Skye is a twenty-year-old college student who likes to work on her websites, read, draw, write, listen to music (and sing along). She likes rubberbands, root-beer lollipops, and a bit of coffee with her milk and sugar.

She grew up in the southern middle of nowhere in which people still had a twang in their voice and the nearest McDonalds or WalMart were thirty minutes away. Likewise, she developed her imagination while she walked back and forth and crisscross across the five acres her grandfather owned. He liked to call her chickadee and sasafrass.

She loves kids and her pet cause is getting them involved in the arts in any form. Besides literacy, developing creativity and imagination is, in her opinion, one of the most important things children need to learn.

Like Stephen Dedalus, she has a fascination with aesthetically pleasing words like idiosyncracies, ragamuffin, chickadee, illimitability, and saoirse. She has huge pride in her roots, both childhood and ancestral: she is proudly both Southern and Irish. She has a fondness for Irish history (and sides with Pierce, Connolly, and Collins) and folklore. She believes she is like the fairies: playful, happy, small, easily pleased, easily offended, good to the good, evil to the evil, capricious.
